Matt sent out a summer newsletter today with updates about the family and farm. For those with sort attention spans, here are a few highlights:

* You can now buy Roloff Farms merchandise directly from ShopRoloff.com.
* The major remodel to the house is now finished.
* Molly was co-valedictorian of her middle school.
* Jacob just finished 5th grade.
* The twins just turned 18.
* The TLC crew is out in full force at the farm this summer, taping what will be the 4th season of the show, set to air this fall.

You can read the full news letter below.

We are very excited to announce the opening…or is it the reopening?…of our online store: www.shoproloff.com. To those who are new to the show or the site, over the years we have received numerous requests for Roloff Farms t-shirts and sweatshirts, and we finally have some available! All of our apparel is printed or embroidered locally. Our small office staff is working as quickly as possible to process and ship out orders, so thank you in advance for your patience as we send out authentic Roloff Farms products directly from our farm to your front door.

We hope that everyone is enjoying the onset of summer time. Here at Roloff Farms, late spring and early summer means lots of changes and activities for the family and the farm.

While TLC has finished airing the third season of “Little People, Big World,” the camera crews are in full swing on the farm, filming for the fourth season, which will begin sometime in September or October. We look forward to returning to TLC in the fall with a bang!

We’re thrilled to announce that Molly will soon graduate from middle school, and she has been selected as a co-valedictorian of her extremely competitive class. Molly, along with several other girls, has maintained a perfect grade point average over the years. We’re extremely proud of Molly and her special achievement.

Jacob is just finishing up the 5th grade and is becoming a better and more competitive soccer player every day. He did have another recent mishap with his arm while playing on the slide at school, but even though he’s got it in a cast right now, he doesn’t let that hold him back! Jacob seems to be growing up even faster now, and he’ll be using his independent spirit as he embarks on some exciting travel plans for the summer. We can’t wait to share his experience with you as the plans firm up.

Zach and Jeremy recently turned 18 and had a party at the farm to celebrate. It was a rather low-key event by their normal standards, but they enjoyed having many of their closest friends that they have grown up with in attendance. There was swimming, eating, large consumption of Zach’s beloved Mountain Dew, and that night, we went out into the woods for a high-octane game of Fugitive, which is similar to Capture the Flag.

Fugitive is a game I have been playing with the boys since they were very young and it is always a great deal of fun–this time was no exception! However, I must admit as I was watching the boys and all their friends run through the woods, I couldn’t help but feel a bit nostalgic as I wondered how many more games will we have before the time comes when they announce their future intentions, whether it is college, a long road trip, or wherever their adult lives will take them. We’re so excited to see where they will go, and just as thrilled to be able to offer them a beautiful home to return to with their own families some day.

And speaking of our home…after nearly 8 months and many “almost there” moments, the remodel of the house is finally completed. We will soon welcome our friends and family with a housewarming party. But as you know, the projects never stop on Roloff Farms, and Camerino is currently busy splitting his time between finishing up the landscaping on the house and tending to the newly planted pumpkin crop.

It is shaping up to be an action packed summer both on the farm and off. Amy and the kids will be making a trip to Detroit, Michigan–Amy’s old stomping grounds. It will be a great opportunity for Amy to reconnect with her roots and show the kids around some of the places that were special to her growing up. We also look forward to an opportunity this summer to spend time with our friends in the LP community.

Thank you again for your continued outpouring of support for our family and our show. You all continue to humble us with your kindness and generosity. We hope that your summers are full of exciting adventures of your own!

Best wishes,
Matt, Amy, Jeremy, Zach, Molly, and Jacob
